Our pass guarantee is designed to help you pass the NCLEX® exam and begin your life as a nurse as quickly as possible.
NCLEX-RN® Prep Guarantee
Students who graduated from an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN)-accredited nursing program, are taking the exam for the first time within 6 months of graduation, and do not pass the NCLEX-RN exam, are entitled to either a 100% tuition refund or a 3-month free repeat.
You must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Take the Kaplan diagnostic and readiness tests from your online account.
- Attend all class sessions (live online or online). Up to 2 live online class sessions can be made up online as directed by Kaplan.
- Answer all questions on the seven Question Trainer tests.
To qualify for the 100% tuition refund, you must not access the Online Study Center resources after the date of your NCLEX-RN exam. The money-back guarantee applies ONLY to the original 3-month enrollment, and does not apply to any enrollment renewal. You must call 1-800-KAP-TEST within 20 days of the date of your NCLEX-RN exam for instructions.

NCLEX-PN® Prep Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a graduate of an ACEN-accredited practical nursing/vocational nursing (PN/VN) program taking the exam for the first time within 6 months of graduation and do not pass the NCLEX-PN exam, you are eligible to receive either a 100% tuition refund OR a free 3-month repeat of your enrollment. Refund does not include shipping or installment billing fees.
To claim the guarantee, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Attend all class sessions (live online or online). Up to 2 live class sessions can be made up online as directed by Kaplan.
- Take the Kaplan readiness test from your online account.
- Answer at least 900 questions on your online Qbank before your exam date.
To qualify for the 100% tuition refund, you must not access the Online Study Center resources after the date of your NCLEX-PN exam. If you choose to repeat the program, you will not be eligible for the money back option. You must call 1-800-KAP-TEST within 20 days of the date of your NCLEX-PN exam to select the repeat or money back option and for further instructions.

NCLEX-PN® Prep Free Repeat Guarantee
If you are a PN/VN nursing school graduate taking the exam for the first time within 6 months of graduation and do not pass the NCLEX-PN exam, you are entitled to a free 3-month repeat of your online enrollment.
To claim the guarantee, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Attend all class sessions (live online or online). Up to 2 live class sessions can be made up online as directed by Kaplan.
- Answer at least 900 questions on your online Qbank.
- You must call 1-800-KAP-TEST within 20 days of the date of your NCLEX-PN exam.
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Prep – Kaplan’s Pass Guarantee
Students who graduated from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited nursing program, are taking the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) exam for the first time within 6 months of graduation, complete all Kaplan coursework prior to the certification exam, and do not pass the certification exam, are entitled to either a 100% tuition refund or a 3-month free repeat of the course.
You must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Complete the FNP prep Asynch Course
- Complete AANP practice test
- Complete ANCC practice test
- Complete all 10 micro virtual simulations
- Complete a minimum of 400 Qbank questions
To qualify for the 100% tuition refund, you must not access the Kaplan online FNP resources after the date of your certification exam. The money-back guarantee applies ONLY to the original enrollment, and does not apply to any enrollment renewal. To redeem the guarantee you must call 1-800-KAP-TEST within 20 days of the date of your certification exam.
